Guess what I've been up to?



I saw some curtains on The Lettered Cottage and I just fell in love with them. So this is my version. I found some curtain tie backs (that I used at the top instead of the side) on Clearance at Hancock Fabrics (normally $17.99 on sale for 60% off - $7.19 a pair). I got my curtains (painter's drop cloth) from Lowe's for $9.99 each. That is about $17.00 a window (I did 3 windows).

Painter's drop cloth is great, the edge is already finished, it's sturdy and it has flecks of darker colors in the fabric. There are different sizes, but the size I got was roughly 6' x 9'. I couldn't buy fabric for that (plus the time it takes to make them).
