This is Champ's clematis in full bloom. I was beginning to think we would never see it in full bloom (every time it would start to bloom the rain would beat the flowers off).
Frank and the boys made the trellis earlier this spring (you can read the post here). The 2 youngest boys love to walk on the edges of the flower beds and they have been using the trellis as a rail and they have pulled it over slightly. Frank will have to straighten it up, but it is still beautiful.
