Chocolate Crescents

Most of my pictures are MIA. Not sure where they went (this time it was my computer instead of my camera).

I took a can of refrigerated crescent rolls, mini semi-sweet chocolate chips and powdered sugar.

I unrolled the crecent rolls and spread chocolate chips over them and then rolled them up. Bake them according to package directions and when you remove them from the oven sprinkle with powdered sugar.

DELISH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brownies

I just made brownies and gave the beater to Rance and the bowl and spatula to Anthony to lick. I went to get the laundry out of the dryer and came back to catch Rance trying to lick the chocolate off his knee (don't ask me how it got there). He was covered in chocolate, bath time!

My Favorite Comfort Foods

This is not a healthy comfort food, but it is a delicious one. On the Reece's Cups it can be original or with caramel. I love them both. Basically anything chocolate is a comfort food to me, but if I had to pick one it would be a Reece's Cup and a Pepsi just sets it off. Pepsi sets off anything.

(Sorry about the picture being fuzzy. Not sure if it is the camera or O.E. - operator error?)

Crock Pot Candy

"Height matters not, heart matters a lot." - Unknown

I just made some crock pot candy and it was good. Here's the recipe...

16 oz. unsalted peanuts
16 oz. salted peanuts
1 bar German chocolate
6 oz. peanut butter chips
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 pkg. (18 squares) of vanilla bark

Layer these items in the order listed above in your crock pot. Turn crock pot on low and cook for 2 1/2 hours. DO NOT LIFT LID UNTIL THE 2 1/2 HOURS IS UP!!!!! Then stir the mixture up and drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper and leave until firm. Then store. Makes about 80 - 100 pieces (according to how big you make them.)
